Lets U-Turn a lil...
I went to visit my adorable ‘Godson’ on 5th Feb. If anyone still remembered my previous post, I was asked to be the ‘Godmother’ for my dearest colleague, FCC’s newborn baby. Even though it's not my culture but I accepted it because she’s one of my closest colleagues who’ve been there for me through thick and thin. Sometimes, things like this happen because we owe them a lifetime and this is the least that I could do for her.
Elijah Lance C. T. was born on 17.1.06. When he grows up, he’ll be able to call me Ninang* M. Cool huh! I can’t wait to hear him call me that. Anyway, I’ll be attending his baptism in April. That should be interesting coz I’ve never been to one. However, the only thing that bothers me is that I will feel out of place when I enter the church. But as long as my faith in Islam is strong, that trip shouldn’t really bother me. Come to think of it, I visited a few temples in Bangkok as part of the half-day city tour. So what’s the problem? Argh! I still can’t get it outta my head.
She showed me her wedding photos in Phils and the VCD was great! And she only spent about SGD$5000 for the whole thing. Cheap ah!! Too bad I couldn’t attend. She was 5 months pregnant at that time but she still look so radiant. I can see the sparkle in her eyes.
And the whole thing about giving birth was amazing. The pics were awesome. It also made me realise how our mothers have really fought for their lives to give birth to us. A salute to all mothers.

Isn't he adorable?
*Ninang means godmother in Tagalog
Now, here's something about last night. I went to visit my 15 year old cousin at his home. He have just been discharged from hospital for high fever. He was admitted on Monday and was taken by ambulance because he couldn't lift up his head. He said it was too heavy. Poor boy. I hope he takes this 2 weeks MC to rest at home and recover fast.
