Home Alone

Yup, just that! Last night, my parents went to the nearby mosque to attend a special iftar session. So, I was left alone at home. It was just a small serving of Fried Kuay Teow + potatoes and a piece of Sunshine Softmeal bread + lukewarm water. I’m trying to sound pathetic here but it’s really boring to break fast alone. Don’t you think? There’s no one to talk to. Just me staring at the tables and chairs and them staring back at me. What a night! :o(

And last night, I watched Full Circle about the life story of Leroy. I was so touched by his determination to move on with his life and fulfil his dream as a drag artiste. But later, he had the courage to go back to his family even when his father threw him out of the house at the age of 18. I cried. I think I was a bit emo last night. Sometimes we see that there are people who had to go through hard times and overcoming their difficulties in life. We, on the other hand, think that our life is the worst. I’m always thankful to God for the things I have in life – my family and those who loves me unconditionally.
