Beware!

I received a letter from OCBC last night informing me that there’s an unauthorized usage of my titanium credit card via the internet on 21 Sept 2006. No wonder I couldn’t use my cc for the past few days. I thought that the card was faulty. OCBC actually barred my cc until they are able to contact me and verified the transaction. When I called the hotline last night, I told them that I did not make any purchase over the internet on that day and they said that they would replace me with a new card with a new 16 digit cc number. I never thought that such fraud cases would happen to me. Luckily, the amount was just US$0.20 and it’s a good thing that OCBC detected it. I’m beginning to doubt the security of the online purchases I’ve made so far. How can anyone use my cc without my permission? Imagine if that person bought a $10k Tag Heuer. Haiz…

Haiz..haiz...when will this end? The dust, the noise, the noise, the noise, the inconvenient path to the bustop is just killing me. Based on the pic above, the construction is halfway done. It should be ready in Jan 2007. I’m able to see them work day and night from the comfort of my own home. They had to do so many things just to construct a road. It’s not easy..really!

Something to look forward to...my Birthday today! And happy birthday to my ex-poly mate, YC. He's exactly 1 year younger than me. It's like an annual task, we'd text and wished each other past midnight. I've not seen him for a long time though. And he's one of my best buddies in school. We can really get along very well. Missed those times...

More Randoms...

At work, I’ve been staying away from one of my female colleague. She’s just annoying. She’s pretty but sometimes, I just want to strangle her. So keeping quiet and stay mysterious is the best way to make her wonder. However, I still talk to her but not like before. And today she said something that really gets on my nerves. She’s thaaaat irritating. Sometimes, like it or not, we just cannot get along with some people. No matter how I tried to like her, I still can’t. She is not the kind of friend I want. Times like these, I’ll still think that Sham and friends are still the best. Love you guys…

At work too, my colleague who’s sitting beside me said something weird yesterday. She said something like,"Oh, we have the colour mon..mon..mon cha brown and blue!" What? I thought I heard it wrongly. She wants to dance Cha Cha is it? Haha.. The word is actually mocha brown. And it’s not just once, she repeated that ‘mon cha brown’ more than 5 times. What a weirdo!

Just a few hours ago, I was conned by a salesgirl at one of the boutiques at Citylink Mall. I actually wanted to try one of their tops (remember…ONLY ONE!) and find myself in that bloody fitting room for more than ½ hour. While I was changing, this salesgirl picked more than 12 tops and about 5 jeans and pants for me to try. At first when she gave me 2-3 tops, I thought that she was being helpful but it became a nuisance after a while. However, I did not try all of them and I told her to stop. "That’s it! No more!" So I decided to buy a pair of black pants (coz I needed one badly) and a green top. No doubt, they’ve got quite a good range of clothing. No regrets whatsoever, just that the experience was a weird one.

The Geylang bazaar is on since yesterday. Tepi hidung aje! It’s just less than 5 mins walk from my workplace. I’m sure there’s going to be my favourite black pepper roti john with cheese. Sedapnye!

During the IMF, darling has been really busy with his role as a liaison officer. So I occupied myself with a gathering at my place with my close family members a week ago. I thought that since my birthday falls during the fasting month, I might not have the time to organize such event. So I brought forward the makan-makan. Nothing special, just ordered Oishi pizza, curry chicken, fish head curry with French loaf. I’d say Indians are still champions at cooking curry. I also ordered a box of mini cupcakes from Perfectfrosting. It’s delicious. Love it. Anyway, I promised to post some pics taken from my camera. Here are some of the pics.

I promise to post more pics in the future. Ok! :)

I love my new cam...

Since I was involved in the recent Comex '06, I took the opportunity to check out the latest deals before we started the show and during break times. I've always been captivated by the sleek designs by Olympus. So I didn't actually check out the other brands like Canon, Nikon or Sony. Besides, time didn't permit me to roam for too long. This is what I purchased...

Olympus Mju 710 (All-weather)
- 7.1 Megapixel
- 3x Optical zoom
- 2.5" colour LCD
- Premium Scratchproof Finish

The free gifts include:-
- 1GB xD-picture card
- mini tripod stand
- additional battery
- MP3 player (512MB)
- additional camera case by Olympus
- 2007 calender
- LCD screen protector

Price featured in their brochures was $599 but I bargained for $549. Woohoo! Good deal huh! This can be my birthday present since I won't be getting any..haha. Dah tua, takde orang nak belikan present kan. ;p Gosh, the number 29 is just around the corner. Dats fast...

Hmm...what should I buy for the next Comex? ;p
