what the fish!!

When is this roadshow going to end? I’m just back from my 11 days leave and now I have to work 11 days straight. Macam mana aku ni tak kudut! Actually I don’t mind so much about the roadshow because of the sales but then the 11 days work is killing me. Help! SOS!

But no matter how tired I am, at least, thinking of darlin’ cheered me up. Our last date was wonderful and the thought of it makes me smile from ear to ear. Even though we were just sitting by the river & chat, he made me really happy. Love you dear, enormously!

Anyway, I enjoyed tremendously last Saturday watching PGL The Musical with darling and friends. Bumped into celebs like the tall and handsome Khairudin Saharom, the soooo beautiful Sharon Ismail, and a few malaysian actors…can’t remember their names right now. I think I’ve got a male brain, coz when I saw Sharon, I fell in love with her beauty (the after-effects of mixing with too many guys during my poly days). Haha… But I didn't manage to take a pic with her.

Darn…it’s already 1am. Gotta fight the war tomorrow. G’night, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite!

Finally...

...my 9 straight days of work is over. Phew! It was tiring and both my ankles are still swollen. *sob..sob* Well, at least now I'm on leave till next Sunday so I could rest.

I dreamt about darling so much for the last 2 weeks, I lost count already. The more I see him in my dreams, the more I misses him. Do you think dreams are like signs to tell you what’s in your subconscious mind? Things you don’t think or feel about when you are awake. Or maybe things that could happen in the future. I’d say, dreams are so complex. I don’t even know what it means.

Anyways, I’m taking 2 modules this term. Parenting & Child Counselling and Understanding Pedagogy. The latter seems very uninteresting but the former was very enjoyable. I can’t get enough of my lecturer. He’s experienced, knowledgeable and his jokes are extremely funny. I had a good laugh every Thursday night. At least, it helps me to forget about the stress at work.

One of my classmates is migrating to New Zealand next year. I’m so happy for her. You know, at one time my parents wanted to migrate to Perth but it was unsuccessful. How I wish I could migrate to somewhere less stressful. Singapore is just so busy and my stress level has gone higher than my actual height. Just look at our younger generations. They are so pressured by their parents, school to do well in their studies. Students here are competing with each other to be the best. If you’ve got low grades, your friends will not talk to you. That is why child suicide cases are on the rise. Sad huh! I wonder what will happen to our future generations when standard of living is getting higher and GST goes up to maybe 20%. With my kind of salary, I can be considered poor and may even seek help from charity organisations. Haha…

So you can see many Singaporeans are leaving for places like Australia, New Zealand and more foreigners are coming in to Singapore. There’ll be more mixed marriages and maybe someday there won’t be anymore Chinese, Malay, Indians, Eurasians. Everyone will have a new race…Singaporeans. If that happens, I’m sure there’ll be lesser discrimination on earth.

World Peace!!

Busy ah...

It’s roadshow again. I don’t have to mention the number of days I have to work this time. It’s the same as the previous one. Next month…another roadshow. I think I can wave the white flag now. Now, both my ankles are swollen and I have to stand for 2 full days.

The most unrewarding thing is that no matter how hard we worked during the roadshow, commission is still not fantastic. Not like before. Everyone’s thinking about how to make more money, how to become rich. I’m just sick of hearing it.

I’m gonna stop here…will be back in a weeks time. Gotta ‘chiong’ for sales this weekend…
