Sushi and 3 crazy souls

We are multi-racial - Chinese, Malay and Indian. And we get along very well ever since we got to know each other. First, it was J who got pregnant, then it was me and soon it shall be L’s turn. Each of us has our own story to tell. We lead very different lives and we learn from each other. They are like my best friends. And no one in the world can ever replace them. Love you girls!

Had our dinner yesterday at Sakae Sushi and later hang around at TCC Bugis. We ate till our bellies are about to burst and high on wasabi. And the non-stop laughter makes dinner superb even with just sushi on the table. We did a bit of shopping at Bugis Village, Giordano and Pazzion. Well, J purchased a pair of heels while on the phone. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone issit? And darn! We just want to go Esplanade. But I got to get the tickets first. *Wink*

I will see them again at barbecue. I’m just so excited. Miss them already.

You know, when I got home and saw darling and Raed fast asleep, I so want to kiss them. They are like everything to me. Coming home to my loved ones makes me really happy. Their love keeps me alive. It’s just amazing how a child keeps the family together and I’m truly blessed.

Extraordinary things

I attended the Principal’s Communication Session earlier today. The only thing I enjoyed was the video by Dewitt Jones, the famous photographer from National Geographic.

Funny how all these photography thingy keeps haunting me. Anyway, the video was truly inspiring. It’s been a while since I’ve watched a really moving video. In his about 20 minutes video, he talks about being creative in a different perspective. How we can make the ordinary become extraordinary and how photography allows him to view things in a different light. His photographs are truly amazing. Just by looking at his daughter sleep in the hammock, he captures her beautifully. The other picture is a picture of the waterfall. The key is the tiny tree.

Before & After

Before & After

I want to be just like him. I want to be able to capture the beautiful moments perfectly. I badly need that DSLR camera. Haha.

Get out of that seat!!

It’s like one really tough job to do – to convince S to get out of her seat and have lunch outside. The school canteen is closed for the holidays. It’s either we order fast food, or we go out to Geylang’s Temporary Market. The idea is to get out of school and do some exercise. All day in that seat really does not make my butt look sexy. It’s getting bigger every day, making me look like a fat cow. Just yesterday, my mom told me that my arms look bigger than usual. She said that I looked like I’ve put on some weight. Damn these fats! Must be the Delifrance’s lamb shank I ate on Sunday. No doubt, it was really yummy! I’m so guilty, eating that, now.

And the upcoming barbecue is really not helping either. I’m a really fat, HOT mummy! Got to give myself some credit, even though I’m fat, I’m still a hot babe. Haha! (What darling might say – “Go and exercise and burn those extra fats away! And no more lamb shank for you for the next 10 years!”)

Boo hoo!!

The stalker

I have a stalker in school. Haha! I received a cup of flowers plucked from some of the bushes nearby and 5 stalks of roses made of tissue paper. He and a friend said that there are not enough plants in my office. Thus, they made me this. This boy and 10-15 other boys have been looking for me for application forms, and other miscellaneous stuff for the past 5 months or so. Although most of the time, they just came by to say ‘Hi’ or say that I walk like a model and pretend to take my picture. Nice boys. The fact that they took the time to make this cup of flowers, means a lot to me.

“Gua caya lu!” :)

F My Life

FMyLife.com

Ever since my colleague gave me this site, I’m hooked. Laughed till my pants dropped! Their lives are totally f***ed. Hilarious! A must to read on a gloomy and rainy day like today. :)

A few of my fav:-

"Today, I was watching Harry Potter. When all the students at Hogwarts started to clap at one point, I started clapping myself. FML"

"Today, I woke up with a splitting headache. Then someone at work wouldn't stop whistling loudly and it was getting on my nerves. "Can the dick who is whistling please stop?" I asked. It was the general manager of my department. I'm still on probation. FML"

"Today, I went to the pool. When I hit the water the top of my swimsuit came off so I tried to put it on underwater. The lifeguard thought I was drowning and pulled me out in front of everyone. Topless. FML"

"Today, I was getting it on with my cute guy friend in his candlelit bedroom and we had just started tearing each other's clothes off. I decided to be coy and sexy and flip my hair to the side. As I did so, my long hair caught in the flames of his lit candles and caught half of my head on fire. FML"

Go to the site and have a good laugh!! :p
